Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) - Dumpster Rentals

When is payment due for dumpster rental services? - Payment is due to Trash Bro LLC at the time of ordering. Customers with pre-approved payment arrangements must pay prior to or during the delivery of the dumpster or the junk removal job. There is a dumpster delivery/rental fee as well as a prorated dump fee that is outlined in the contract. We separate these two charges so that you only pay for what you use weight wise in the dumpster after the initial rental fee. The dump fee is charged to the credit card on file after we pick up the dumpster and dump it.

What happens if I fail to pay for the dumpster rental?

- If you fail to pay Trash Bro LLC prior to the scheduled pickup, the load will be dropped where the dumpster is located, and Trash Bro LLC will not be held liable for its contents, placement, or removal from the dump site. Now of course we won't do this without giving you a courtesy call, because we understand people easily forget to click an email these days. We're just putting this here for those who think they can pull a fast one on us. We've been around the block.

What are the charges for additional rental days beyond the agreed-upon contract period? - After the end of the contract term, an additional rental charge of $30 per day will apply. Make sure to inform us in advance if you need an extension because our system allows for your dumpster to be rented again if we don't extend it in our books. If it rents prior to you extending the rental we will have to pick up the can at the end of the contract term. You can email us after hours and chances are we will see it.

What happens if my dumpster load exceeds the acceptable weight limit? - Our maximum acceptable dumpster weight is 6,000 pounds (3 tons). Anything from inside a house and you're going to be below the limit. Where we have issues is with thinks that are heavy like tile, block, concrete, asphalt, dirt, stone, wet wood etc... That stuff we don't accept and If the load exceeds this limit, you'll be responsible for any additional charges associated with overloading such as DOT fines, blown tires, or injuries to our drivers equipment or others. We're good at estimating the weight of a can when loading and so we'll let you know if it is too heavy. Its obvious from the sound of the winch. In the event of a dumpster being too heavy what we can do is rent you a second dumpster for you to put some of the contents into. In the end you needed 2 dumpsters and the weight/disposal cost stays the same. If you're within 10 miles of us there isn't even a fuel charge. A second dumpster is WAY cheaper than an overweight ticket. This really is just for the roofers that are trying to fill the dumpsters to the top. Dont.

Can I place hazardous waste in the dumpster? - No. We do not accept hazardous waste, including industrial waste, chemicals, flammable liquids, batteries, medical waste, E waste, TVs, Computers, and more. A list of prohibited items can be found in the "NO Hazardous waste" section of the contract. You're liable for the fees/ fines / destruction that results from anything that's not allowed in the dumpster that ends up in the dumpster during the contracted period.

What if the dumpster is damaged during the rental period? - Customers are liable for any damage caused to the dumpster, including fire, impact, or damage resulting from improper use or overloading. You'll be responsible for covering the cost of repair or replacement of the damaged dumpster.

What happens if the dumpster is placed in an unsuitable location? - Customers are responsible for providing a suitable site for the dumpster and ensuring a minimum of 15' overhead clearance for any power, phone, or cable lines. If the driver determines that the placement may cause damage, they have the right to refuse placement and suggest a more suitable location. We cannot place a dumpster closer than 15 feet to a dwelling incase of a fire.

How do I request a pickup for the dumpster? - The container shall be picked up at the end of the agreed-upon contract period. If you wish to extend the rental period or make any changes to the pickup schedule, contact Trash Bro LLC in advance. You don't have to contact us for pickup if you don't need to extend your rental.
